ANNE

Anne was a student of everything, excelling at everything She put her mind to. Everything except for athletics, and cleaning.

Though she hated it at first, Anne was able to turn herself into a Runner so she could participate in 10 K's at half marathons with her husband. Later, She realized she needed to be stronger and turn to CrossFit. It took her a little more than a year to convince her husband to try as well.

As with everything else, Anne became a student of Cross fit. She bought books on competition, diet, training, programming, stretching, kb swinging, other athletes personal journeys, mashing...

Midstate soon became her "happy place." While she wanted to excel at the sport, she began to love coming to the box at lunch. While she always received compliments about all facets of her, she loved hearing the new compliment: "you look so strong."

while Anne loved that she was becoming more fit, what she loved more sharing the grind with the others in her noon class. What Anne loved most was coming home and sharing the "war story" of the daily workout with her husband, and strategizing how they would get better. And then she would go read up on it, so they would know how

KAREN

Karen Lee Hazeltine can only be described as amazing. She's the mom and grandma who did everything for her family before herself, the wife that held it together and loved her husband more than words. She was always there to help when she knew you or even if she didn't. Karen found the love of kettlebells later in life and she pushed herself even when it was hard and she loved it! I was told that Karen can truly be described as the "friend you only find once in a life time"

CASSIE

Cassie Luce was a wife and mother committed to her family. The mother of 5 and grandmother of 2 completed a tough mudder for her 40th Birthday and enjoyed her preparation for the event. A 5 year battle with breast cancer may have taken her energy and health, but it didn't take her desire to serve others. She was committed to her faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Cassie was a valued friend to many, and touched the lives of all who came to know her. Cassie passed away at peace with her life on 6/1/2019.
