Thank You for Making the Raz’N Health Fitness Festival an Unforgettable Success

Wow. As I sit here, just 24 hours after the Raz’N Health Fitness Festival, I’m still riding the high of what we’ve accomplished together. Reflecting on the past few months, I’m struck by how extraordinary this event was—truly one of the best-executed, most thoughtfully crafted throwdowns Central California has ever seen. The outpouring of praise from athletes, vendors, and attendees has been incredible, and it’s all thanks to the amazing efforts of our dedicated team.

This festival was more than just a CrossFit throwdown; it was a celebration of health, wellness, and the incredible strength of community. It was made possible by the hard work and unwavering commitment of so many. I want to take a moment to spotlight the exceptional individuals who played pivotal roles in bringing this vision to life:

Amanda, your dedication to building out and networking the vendor village was nothing short of phenomenal. You invested countless hours planning and executing, delivering far beyond our promises. Your hard work ensured that our festival wasn’t just an event, but a comprehensive experience aimed at enhancing our collective well-being.

Erin, you’ve been the backbone of Team MidState CrossFit. From your support for Brian and Gabby to your impeccable attention to detail in the volunteer uniforms, you have been a pillar of strength. Your creation of the Raz’N Health 5K Run artwork resulted in possibly the coolest 5K shirt ever. Your relentless commitment, including your fundraising efforts, chalk routes, and taking care of those around you, has not gone unnoticed. Your tireless energy makes MidState CrossFit feel like a true MidState Ohana.

The Dan’s—each of you brought something unique and invaluable to the table:

  • Dan Holmes, your vision for an external competition and your dedication over the past 10 days were crucial. Your hard work paved the way for a successful event.

  • Dan Fishman, your homemade trophies were a masterpiece, and your steady presence anchored our judging team. Your craftsmanship and calm demeanor were vital to our success.

  • Dan Mast, our hero competing at the NCC just a week ago and placing 10th, your exceptional judgment and the masterful programming you crafted showcased our athletes and highlighted who was truly the fittest at this year’s Raz’N Health Festival.

Jammie Murray, your efforts in cultivating the MidState CrossFit brand and managing our social media were invaluable. You captured our moments of fun and joy, ensuring that the essence of our community was beautifully documented.

Shelby, your wizardry on the mic and your role in the MSCF broadcast team were critical. Your partnership with Atwater Agriculture to handle equipment logistics was a game-changer. We are grateful for your professionalism and contributions.

Uncle Rico and Fernando, your leadership in managing the judges and equipment teams was outstanding. Your tireless work behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly, creating a flawless experience for everyone involved.

Jon-Mag, your foresight and meticulous planning—from securing radios and clocks to coordinating with first responders—were crucial. Your efforts, including landing a helicopter at the festival, demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to excellence.

As Gabby and I reflect on this incredible event, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. We did this because we are passionate about addressing the rising rates of obesity and promoting CrossFit as a powerful solution to many of the world’s challenges. We did this because it’s exhilarating to contribute to making Merced County a better, happier place to live.

The success of this festival has touched us deeply, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you again at our 10th Anniversary during the MidState CrossFit Lift-Off.

Save the Dates:

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this festival an unforgettable experience. We look forward to creating many more moments of joy and community with all of you.

With heartfelt gratitude,
