What are the MidState Games?

What are the MidState Games?

The MidState Games is our annual in-house partner competition. It will be hosted on April 22nd at our box. Doors open at 0730, WOD Briefing at 0815. Event runs until early afternoon. Event ends when everyone goes home.

We design the MidState Games to allow for everyone to compete in one large division. If you are thinking to yourself “I can’t do the MidState Games, I am not ready” or “I need XYZ before I can do something like that”, well you are mistaken. ANYONE can compete, learn, and grow through the MidState Games. Having a partner encourages our athletes to push beyond their usual boundaries. Oftentimes partnering team mates will have strengths and weaknesses allowing for strategy and tactics to be employed to complete the WOD. Deep meaningful friendships and teams are built upon a combination of hard work and laughter. The MidState Games are a perfect combination of both!

The week prior to the MidState Games we are hosting our Sickness-Wellness-Fitness Education Seminar. At the end of that event we will be participating in a Partner WOD and then releasing all three WODs including “The Floater.”

Now what? Get a partner, make a team name, and sign up at the kiosk!!!
